You can pick up your own dead tree copy of the newsletter for yourselves from the following locations:

• Rokewood Take Away
• Dereel (no further details have been provided as to exactly where in Dereel)
• Cape Clear (no further details have been provided as to exactly where in Cape Clear)
• Napoleons (no further… well you get the idea. I’d guess the Napoleons shop though)
• Your letterbox (no further details on how to organise this have been provided, try calling the editor)

And apparently nowhere online. This seems like a rather foolish stance to take when the NBN will be here in our district in less than 6 months resulting in nearly everyone in the Rokewood and surrounding areas having access to high speed broadband internet.  Not making our newsletter available via the internet seems like a disservice to our environment, a disservice to our community, a disservice to our local businesses and a disservice to local advertisers. I find it strange however that our neighbouring communities in Bannockburn and Meredith are capable of having digital copies made available to their communities, hopefully our newsletter will be online again soon considering how easy it is to achieve.

Of course if our local newsletter committee would like to discuss with me methods on how to digitally distribute the newsletter (entirely free of charge) they can contact me.

The Rokewood Newsletter doesn’t publish an edition in January so the next edition (404) will be available in early February 2012.
